This hand-crafted music box explores the idea of home as something more than a physical place. While home often refers to geography, for me it is a time, a feeling, or a memory that I voluntarily return to. The box contains three curated albums, each representing one of my “homes.” The first centers on the people I love most. The second holds music tied to a difficult period in my life. The third reflects the physical place I call home. Though different in tone, each album represents a space that has shaped who I am.
Music becomes both souvenir and portal. These songs allow me to revisit older versions of myself, to check in, to reflect, and to measure growth. By dividing these memories into three distinct collections, the project acknowledges that home is layered and evolving. These places, people, and experiences are all my homes because they continue to form me, and I return to them intentionally.
