CHA Somerville Mural

2024 | Mural Painting
 This mural was my first official large-scale work, created for the outdoor space at the Center for Inpatient Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at Cambridge Health Alliance in Somerville. Designed for children and teens receiving inpatient mental health care, the piece introduces elements of nature to cultivate tranquility and emotional softness within the space.

The mural features flowers, butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds—symbols of joy, resilience, and growth.  By surrounding the courtyard with vibrant imagery, the mural offers a sense of lightness and connection to the outside world. I invited close friends to collaborate with me during the painting process, making the creation of the mural both meaningful and community-centered.
